The device works by emitting ultrasonic pulses that are imperceptible to the hearing of humans and pets, but which repel ticks, keeping them away. It has a range of around 2 metres. The device is designed primarily for prevention.
The effectiveness of TICKLESS® technology has been demonstrated through clinical research at the Laboratory of Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Camerino, Italy.

INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the tab to activate the device. To switch on or off, press the button: 4 short green flashes indicate that the device is on, while one long red flash indicates that it is off. When the appliance is on, the indicator light flashes every 5 minutes. After 8 hours of continuous use, the device will automatically switch off and must be switched on again before the next use. The device can be attached to clothing using its clip, or attached using a cord threaded through the opening provided for this purpose. Do not obstruct the ultrasound emission by covering the device (do not put it in your pocket or bag).
In areas heavily contaminated with ticks, 100% protection cannot be guaranteed. The device will operate for approximately 3,000 hours in average weather conditions.
