Smokeless moxa stick for healing

In the maternity field, the moxa stick is indicated to help heal superficial wounds. It may be recommended by acupuncturist midwives in the case of cracked nipples or other breast sores caused by breastfeeding (poor nipple grip, unsuitable position, delicate skin, etc.).

The moxa stick is made from charcoal mixed with traditional herbs, mainly mugwort (or Artemisia vulgaris), known for its many medicinal properties.

It's easy to use: just light the moxa so that it burns slowly, and bring the end close to the point to be treated. The distance should allow you to feel the heat (minimum 3 cm), but above all it should not burn the skin. Under no circumstances should the moxa come into contact with the skin or the area to be treated, otherwise there is a risk of burns. Once the skin is slightly reddened, extinguish the moxa by sealing it in a small glass jar.

The moxa stick can be re-used several times.
